NX is Newcastle’s new major music and club venue. A former Majestic cine-picture house, NX has recently enjoyed a major refurbishment which puts the music fan and artist front and centre of the musical experience. We host club events and regular live shows. Please check-out our galleries and videos here.

NX is located just a short walk from Newcastle central station (less than 5 minutes either walking or taxi)

There is no parking at the venue itself although close by there are plenty of pay and display parking spaces.

If you have lost items or left them in the cloakroom, please email the venue directly at lost@nxnewcastle.com. Please include a description of the missing item, date of the show and your contact details. A member of the NX team will get in touch.

NX stores lost property for a maximum of one month and after this period they are donated to local charity shops. Valuable items may be held for a longer period and items such as passports and other forms of identification are handed to the relevant authorities if they are not collected.

In accordance with our licensing conditions NX has the right to refuse admission without providing a reason. Identification will be required for entry to the venue. Please see event details as specific events will have different guidelines and restrictions. You can always call us for further information.

NX also has the rights to remove people from the venue at any point for any reason. If you are ejected from the venue and would like to dispute the action, then please email us and we will investigate the issue.

Part of the condition of entry is that you agree to a search on arrival.

NX operates a zero tolerance drugs policy. Anyone found with illegal drugs will be banned from the venue and reported to the police. There will be additional measures on top of our search procedures that may be enacted when you visit NX, this may include drug detection methods. For your protection and for the protection of our staff, all searches are conducted under full HD CCTV

The venue provides a cloakroom.

Please be aware that no items will be given out from the cloakroom without the matching ticket being presented. If you have lost your ticket, you will be asked to wait until the end of the event to collect your belongings.

NX is a former cinema venue and is constructed across multi floors. We have a customer lift which is located at the front of the venue and staff will be available to assist you. Our customer lift operates to the first and second floor only. NX also has accessible toilets.

We do offer one free carer’s pass per ticket holder. These can be booked directly with the venue be emailing info@nxnewcastle.com. Carer ticket holders should be able to meet the needs and assist the person they are accompanying in the event of an emergency.

Dress Codes may change depending on the night or event. Please call ahead to discuss this if required.

Please ensure you bring ID to the venue. No ID = No Entry.

Accepted forms of ID are:
Driver’s License - full or provisional
Valid Passport
Citizenship Card with the PASS hologram and SIA logo.

Any ID found to be fraudulent will be confiscated. It will either be handed over to the police or sent back to the issuing authority.

No professional cameras (with large or detachable lenses), video cameras or tape recorders are permitted in the venue. Should you be found to have these on arrival you will be asked to either take them back to somewhere safe or be asked to deposit them in the cloakroom.

Small compact cameras are allowed unless specified on the day of the show.
